Welcome to Epitome, a Free and Open-Source (FOSS) application developed by Doomkey. By using this software, you agree to the following terms.

1. Software License

Epitome is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3 (AGPLv3).

  • You are free to use, study, modify, and redistribute this software under the terms of that license.

2. Nature of Service

Epitome is a browser-only application.

  • No Account Required: You do not need to create an account with Doomkey to use the software.
  • No Server-Side Processing: All core functions of the software are performed locally on your device. Doomkey does not provide any cloud synchronization, hosting, or remote backup services.

3. User Responsibility & Data Loss

Because Epitome does not transmit data to any server controlled by Doomkey:

  • Backups: You are solely responsible for backing up your data.
  • Data Recovery: If you lose your device, or experience a hardware failure, Doomkey cannot recover your data, as we never had access to it.

4. Disclaimer of Warranty

Consistent with the AGPLv3, Epitome is provided “AS IS”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Doomkey or any contributors be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the software or the use or other dealings in the software. Your use of the software is at your own risk.

6. Changes to Terms

Doomkey reserves the right to update these terms. Any changes will be reflected in the updated version of the software or its official repository.
